The Obituary of Mrs. Joan Mosley Howard Officiating Minister: Keith Bowling Mrs. Joan Mosley Howard born July 9, 1929 departed this life on April 27, 2008 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center, Hazard, Kentucky. She was 78 years, 9 months, and 18 days old. Joan was born at Hyden, Ky., the daughter of the late Jim Mosley and the late Mary Morgan. She was a former employee of the Leslie Co. Senior Citizens Centers and a homemaker. Joan was a member of the Stinnett Church of Christ & enjoyed quilting and gardening as hobbies. Joan was a life-long member of Leslie County, residing at 837 Greasy Creek Road, Hoskinston, Ky., at the time of her death. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Jim Mosley and Mary Morgan, brothers, Clon & an one infant brother, and twin sister, Barbara, and sister, Rose Durbin. Mrs. Joan Mosley Howard leaves the following relatives surviving: husband: Noah Mosley of Hoskinston, Ky., two sons: David Michael Howard & Elizabeth of Hoskinston, Ky., Anthony Lynn Howard & Effie, of London, Ky., one daughter: Debra Howard Napier and Richard Wade Rick of Stinnett, Ky., six grandchildren: Anthony Dwayne Howard & Amanda, Christopher Lynn Howard and Fiance Renee, Rodney Lynn Howard, Michael Scott Howard, Richard Brian Napier and Robyn, Brittany Jo Napier, & one great, granddaughter: Kaidisyn Breanna Napier. The funeral service for Mrs. Joan Mosley Howard will be conducted, 2:00 p.m. " Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at the Stinnett Church of Christ with Keith Bowling officiating. The interment will follow at the Noah and Joan Howard Family Cemetery, Hoskinston, Ky., under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff.
