The obituary of Mrs. Lucille Morgan Addington Officiating Minister: Rev. Roger Wolfe Mrs. Lucille Morgan Addington born May 6, 1912 departed this life on April 23, 2008 at the age of 95 years, 11 months and 17 days old. She was born in Hyden, Kentucky the daughter of the late Bige Morgan and the late Mollie Lewis Morgan. By occupation she was a homemaker and had been a life long resident of Leslie County with the exception of having lived in Middletown, Ohio for the past 15 years. Mrs. Lucille Morgan Addington was a member of the Muncy Creek Baptist Church at Hyden, Kentucky. Some of her hobbies included cooking and canning. She was preceded in death by her parents: Bige and Mollie Morgan; husband: James Addington; one son: Bobby Douglas; four sisters: Mae Valentine, Gladys Asher, Onie Smith and Kathleen Sizemore; three brothers: Houston, James and Carl, three half-sisters: Rhoda Pennington, Lillie Morgan and Lula Sparks. She leaves surviving the following relatives: Two Sisters: Geneive Harkins of Dayton, OH., Lucy Culpepper of Lynch, KY., Special Niece: Kim Gibson and her husband Earl and their children Nikki & Charlie. Also survived by a host of treasured nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Lucille Morgan Addington will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday - April 27, 2008 at the Hyden Baptist Church in Hyden, Kentucky with the Rev. Roger Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in the Hurricane Cemetery at Hyden, Kentucky under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff.
