Arnold loved playing cards & his dogs & cats. Arnold Gibson was preceded in death by his Father: Laney Gibson, 2 Brothers: J.C. Gibson & Harold Gibson & 1 Sister: Lolas Gibson. He leaves the following relatives surviving: His Mother: Lunie Couch Gibson of Bearbranch, Ky. His wife: Sylvia Gibson of Oneida, Ky., 1 Daughter: Charlene Gibson Hill & Charles of Oneida, Ky., 1 Grandson: Steve Marcum of Oneida, Ky., 4 Brothers: Alfred Gibson & Margaret of Big Creek, Ky., Laney Gibson, Jr. of Bearbranch, Ky., Jimmy Gibson & Linda of Hyden, Ky. & Stanley Gibson & Imogene of Hazard, Ky. & 3 Sisters: Geneva Sizemore & Nig of Bearbranch, Ky., Bessie Roberts & Randy of Stinnett, Ky. & Effie Muncy & Levi of Bearbranch, Ky. Also a host of Nieces & Nephews survive. Funeral service for Arnold "Shorty" Gibson will be conducted on Sunday, March 22, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Jim Sizemore Church at Bearbranch, Ky., with Jerry Holland, Jerry McKinley Holland, Tony Couch & Rev. Ryan Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in the Gibson Branch Cemetery at Sizerock, Ky.
