Billy Joe Lewis Eulogy: Tammy Jones Mrs. Malinda Lou Gibson was born on March 8, 1942 in Owingsville, KY. and passed away on February 8, 2013 at the Baptist Health in Corbin, KY. She was 70 years of age and was residing in Woodbine, KY. at the time of her passing. Malinda was the Daughter of the late Willie Alsept and the late Nevada Montgomery and was the Wife of Hargis Gibson. By occupation Malinda was formerly the Deputy Jailer in Leslie County for 12 years. Malinda had been a resident of Woodbine, KY. for the past years and was formerly of Leslie County. She was of the Baptist Faith and was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing, cooking and most importantly being involved in the lives of her children & grandchildren. She was Preceded in Death by her: Parents: Willie Alsept & Nevada Montgomery; Son: Hargis Anthony Gibson, Jr.; Brothers: Wise, Howard, William & Ira; Sisters: Betty Earl and Dora Helen. Malinda was survived by her: Husband: Hargis Gibson of Woodbine, KY.; Son: Howard Eugene Gibson & Karen of Woodbine, KY.; Daughter: Leslie Thomas & David of Drakesboro, KY.; Grandchildren: Cleveland Gibson, Charlie Gibson, Tommy Slusher, Lauren Slusher and Reagan Thomas; 5 Great Grandchildren also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Malinda Lou Gibson will be conducted on Tuesday ~ February 12, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Joe Lewis officiating and Eulogy by Tammy Jones. Burial will follow in the A.R. Dyche Cemetery at London, KY.
