He was 46 years of age at the time of his passing. Robert was the Son of Robert & Jennifer Asher and Husband of Gail Bentley Asher. Robert was a self employed Carpenter. He was a lifelong resident of Leslie County and was a member of the Wooton Presbyterian Church in Wooton, KY. He enjoyed knives & guns, fishing & electronics as hobbies. He was Preceded in Death by: Maternal Grandparents: John & Minnie Oaks Bowling and Paternal Grandfather: Willie Asher. Mr. Robert Edmond Asher leaves the following relatives surviving: Parents: Robert & Jennifer Asher of Hyden, KY.; Wife: Gail Bentley Asher of Hyden, KY.; Daughter: Erica Danielle Asher Sizemore of Hyden, KY.; Paternal Grandmother: Marie Hensley Asher of Hyden, KY.; Brother: Philip Clayton Asher of Hyden, KY.; Grandchildren: Timothy Noah Daniel Sizemore and Nevaeh Lynn Sizemore. Funeral services for Mr. Robert Edmond Asher will be conducted on Sunday ~ July 3, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. with Greg Whitaker & Merle Caudill at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel ~ Hyden, KY. Burial will follow the funeral service in the Hurricane Cemetery ~ Hyden, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Wayne Stevens, Thomas Bentley, Anthony Burns, Allen Densmore and Donnie Asher. The following will serve as Honorary Pallbearers: Robert Claude Baker, Dale Asher, Wendell Asher & Danny Bowling.
