The Obituary of Mrs. Eleanor S. Woods Officiating Minister: Rev. Hollie J. Vanhoose Mrs. Eleanor S. Woods passed away at her residence at 14 Miller Lane ~ London, KY. on August 25, 2011. She was 80 years of age at the time of her passing. Eleanor was born at Hyden, Ky., the daughter of the late Dewey Stubblefield and Polly Jane Jones Stubblefield. Eleanor spent her formative years in Leslie Co & then moved to Ohio as an adult. She was retired from General Motors with 30 years of service. Eleanor was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church and enjoyed gardening, working with flowers, and most of all spending time with her family. Eleanor had been a resident of London, KY. for the past 21 years, residing at 14 Miller Lane ~ London, KY. at the time of her death. Eleanor was Preceded in Death by her Parents: Dewey Stubblefield & Polly Jane Jones Stubblefield; one Daughter: Rhonda Carol Woods; two Brothers; Harmon "Norman" Stubblefield & Dewey Jr. Stubblefield; two Sisters: Mahala Jean Dyer & Fannie Moler. Mrs. Eleanor Stubblefield leaves the following relatives surviving: her Loving and Devoted Husband: Charley Woods of London, KY.; 1 Daughter: Tina Campbell of London, KY.; 3 Sisters: Betty Helen Stubblefield Osborne of London, KY., Roeann Stubblefield Wilson of Union, KY.& Geri Sue Stubblefield Sizemore of London, KY.; 2 Grandchildren: James "Jim" Campbell of London, KY. & Blake Canada of London, KY.; 1 God Grandchild: Jennifer Jackson of London, KY. & 1 Great Grandchild: Macie Campbell of London, KY. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday ~ August 29, 2011 @ 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel ~ Hyden, KY., with Rev. Hollie J. Vanhoose officiating. The interment will follow in the John North Cemetery ~ Dryhill, Ky. Visitation will be Sunday ~ August, 27 2011 from 6:00 -9:00 P.M. at the funeral home chapel.
