He was born at Combs, Kentucky the son of the late, Brack & Dema Hensley. He was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., with the exception of being in the Military. Timothy was a veteran of the U.S. Army & a retired coal miner. He was affiliated with the Church of God. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, hunting & watching sports. Timothy was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother: Billy Don Hensley,1 sister: Lois & 3 infant sisters He was survived by his wife: Thelma Melton Hensley of Wooton, KY., 1 son: Randy Hensley of Wooton, Ky., 1 brother: Jerry Ray Hensley & Pam of Hyden, Ky, 1 sister: Benita Combs of Wooton, Ky. A host of nieces, nephews & cousins also survive. Funeral service will be conducted by the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY., on Friday, August 7, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the McIntosh Church of God at Wooton, KY., with Clifton Adams & Donnie Melton officiating. Burial will follow in the Arthur Melton Family Cemetery at Wooton, Ky.with full military rites observed by Leslie Co. D.A.V. Chapter # 133.
