The obituary of Mrs. Dorothy Stidham Pace Officiating Ministers: Mack Lewis, Doug Caldwell & Keith Bowling Mrs. Dorothy Stidham Pace was born on June 8, 1934 and departed this life on October 8, 2011 at the age of 77 years. She was born at Hyden, Kentucky and the Daughter of the late Harrison Stidham and the late Mallie Lewis Stidham. By occupation Dorothy was employed by the Social Services Offices and the U. S. Post Office as their Custodian. She was a member of the Hurts Creek Church of Christ and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, KY. Dorothy enjoyed crocheting and knitting as hobbies, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Dorothy was Preceded in Death by her Parents: Harrison & Mallie Stidham; Loving & Devoted Husband: Ralph Pace; Son: Thomas; five Brothers: Eugene, Lenuel, Edward, Darrell & Rex. She leaves surviving the following relatives: Son: Larry Keith Pace & Ellen of Hyden, KY.; Daughters: Kathy Lynn Mills of Hyden, KY., Sandra Maggard & Oral Roberts of Hyden, KY.; Daughter-In-Law: Maggie Pace of Hyden, Ky.; Brothers: David Stidham & Jean of Hyden, Ky. and Kenneth Stidham & Eunice of Monterey, IN.; Sister: Gladys Bowling of London,KY.; four Sister-In-Laws: Loretta Stidham, Jewell Stidham, Leetha Pace, Dorothy & Don Moralee; ten Grandchildren: Andrea & Victor, Chris & Cynthia, David, Angela, Tommy Lee & Amberly, Micha & Scott, Brandon, Kenny & Kayla, Sandra Lyn and Ben; seven Great Grandchildren: Devin, Clif, Breanna, Luke, Taelyn, Thomas Keith and Thomas Shade. Also survived by Special Nieces: Evelyn Pace and Renda Young; Special Friend: Betty Chatt and a host of other treasured relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Stidham Pace will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday ~ October 11, 2011 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Mack Lewis, Doug Caldwell and Keith Bowling officiating. Burial will follow in the Grassy Gap Cemetery located at Hyden, KY.
