The obituary of Mr. David Lynn Asher Officiating Minister: Rev. Terry Joseph Mr. David Lynn Asher born July 23, 1951 departed this life on November 21, 2009 at the Albert Chandler University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, Ky. He was 58 years, 3 months, & 28 days old. David was born at Hyden, Ky., the son of the late Geneva Asher. David was retired from Topy, a comapny in Frankfort, Ky., which produced automotive wheel rims. He had been a resident of Frankfort, Ky. for 19 years, & had been residing at Happy, Ky., for the past 9 months. David enjoyed automotive repair as a hobby. Mr. David Asher was preceded in death by his mother, Geneva Asher, & one sister, Sandra L. Kilburn. Mr. David Asher leaves the following relatives surviving: his loving & devoted wife, Janice Sturgill Asher of Happy, Ky., two sons: David Asher, Jr. & wife, Kathy of Lexington, Ky., Henry Riley of Combs, Ky., two daughters: Rebecca Asher of Georgetown, Ky., Victoria Anderson & husbnd, Charles of Nicholasville, Ky., one brother: Danny Ray Lawson & wife, Judy, of Ohio, nine grandchildren: Joey Vaughn, Julie Vaughn, Trisha Vaughn,Carly Anderson, Katie Anderson, Travis Anderson, Clayton Asher, Natasha Wright, Danny Collins, one great grandchild:Jordan Wright, & a host treasured aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. The funeral service for Mr. David Lynn Asher will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. - Wednesday - November 25, 2009 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel, Hyden, Ky., with Rev. Terry Joseph officiating. The interment will follow in the Kilburn Family Cemetery, Avawam, Ky., under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff.
