The obituary of Mr. Roger "Moonrunner" Madden Officiating Minister: Rev. Billy Joe Lewis Mr. Roger "Moonrunner" Madden born January 3, 1950 departed this life on October 2, 2008 at the age of 58 years, 8 months and 29 days old. He was born at Yeaddiss, Kentucky the son of the late Dophia Madden. By occupation he was a coal truck driver and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, Kentucky. Roger was affiliated with the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ and he enjoyed mechanic work and his dogs. Roger was preceded in death by his mother: Dophia Madden; one brother: Garry Crawford and by one sister: Kathleen Drew. He leaves surviving the following relative: one son: Jamie Begley & Christy of Stinnett, KY; Companion: Diane Begley Madden; five brothers: Arthur & Angela Callahan of Essie, KY, Lonnie Callahan of Smilax, KY, James & Mia Callahan of Bledsoe, KY, Roy & Judy Callahan of Shephersdville, KY, Kenneth & Janice Crawford, of LaFollette, TN, three sisters: Eva & Guice Belcher of Mozelle, KY, Lucy & Clark Napier of Hyden, KY, and Lorraine & Darrell Ping of Somerset, KY. Roger is also survived by a host of treasured nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. - Sunday - October 5, 2008 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel at Hyden, KY with Rev. Billy Joe Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ Church Cemetery at Smilax, KY. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. Saturday - October 4, 2008 at the funeral home chapel.
