The Obituary of Mr. Lester Griffin Officiating Ministers: Cleve Bowling and Dwayne Yost Mr. Lester Griffin was born on April 13, 1936 and departed this life on June 16, 2010 at the age of 74 years. He was the son of the late Rhennie Griffin and Rosabell Harris Griffin. By occupation he was retired from Ford Motor Co. in Louisville, KY. He honorably served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Flat Creek Church of the Brethren and was a life member of the Leslie County DAV Chapter 133. He was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves the following relatives surviving: Wife: Edna Griffin of Big Creek, KY.; Sons: Leslie Griffin & Regina of Hyden, KY. and Seth Griffin of Big Creek, KY.; daughters: Dennise Gilbert & F.G. of Big Creek, KY., Jody Griffin of Big Creek, KY. and Melissa Langford & Ben of London, KY.; grandchildren: Brittanie, Jacob, Felicia, Joshua, Felix, Sebastian and Griffin; great grandchildren: Caley, Cody and Jayden. Funeral services for Mr. Lester Griffin will be conducted on Saturday - June 19, 2010 at 4:00 P.M. at the Flat Creek Church of the Brethren with Cleve Bowling and Dwayne Yost officiating. Burial will follow the funeral service at the Orville Napier Cemetery. Friends may call for visitation beginning at 2:00 P.M. Friday - June 18, 2010 at the church.
