Grover Stidham

The obituary of Mr. Grover Stidham Mr. Grover Stidham, 54, of Bear Branch, Ky. departed this life on Thursday, January 09, 2014 at the ST. Joseph Hospital, Lexington, Ky. Grover was born September 15, 1959 at Hazard, Kentucky the son of Louella Phipps & the late John Stidham. Grover was a retired coal miner and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. Mr. Grover Stidham was a devoted member of the Bear Branch Baptist Church and enjoyed going to church. He also liked hunting, feeding horses, four wheeler riding, but he especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Grover was preceded in death by his father: John Stidham, Step-Father Adam Huff, brother: Robert Stidham, Sisters: Loretta Baker and Dosia Oliver. He leaves surviving his devoted and loving wife: Sarah Sizemore Stidham of Bear Branch, KY., Two daughters:Tracy Pennington & Brian of Wooton, Ky. and Brandi Napier & Mark of Manchester, Ky., beloved mother: Louella Stidham of Indiana, four brothers: Mark Stidham & Ermma of IN, Ed Crawford & Gladys of Hazard, KY, Willie Darrell Wooton of IN, Charlie Wooton & Sandra of IN, four sisters: Sarah Kolb & Charlie of IN, Ruby Cox & Carl of IN, Francis Wooton of Busy, KY, Malta Caldwell of London, KY, three Grandchildren: Hailey Napier, Hayden Napier and Raylan Pennington. Grover is also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends. The following will serve as pallbearers: Dwight Baker, Greg Baker, Mark Stidham, Darrell Wooton, Leon Burns, Bob Sizemore, Kendell Hollen, William Davidson, and Eddie Sizemore. FUNERAL SERVICES: 1:00 p.m.-Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at the Bear Branch Baptist Church at Bear Branch, KY OFFICIATING MINISTERS: Rev. Cova Asher, Rev. Ted Collett and Rev.
