John Carwell Luella Sue Roark Berry born January 4, 1961 departed this life on June 21, 2008 at the Grand Strand Medical Center, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was 47 years, 5 months, and 17 days old. Sue was born at Beverly, Ky., the daughter of Stanley Raymond Roark & Edna Brock. She was a homemaker & former custodian at Century Coal Co. Sue was a member of the Red Bird Fire Dept. & the Lower Jack's Creek United Methodist Church, Roark, Ky. She attended the University of Kentucky, Union College, and Hiwassee College of Madisonville, Tennessee. She enjoyed reading and was actively involved in the lives of her children. Sue was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., living at 12481 Hwy. # 406, Roark, Ky., at the time of her death. Mrs. Luella Sue Roark Berry was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Mrs. Mary Alice Berry. Mrs. Luella Sue Roark Berry leaves the following relatives surviving: husband: Clifford Berry Jr., of Roark, Ky., her parents: Stanley Raymond Roark & Edna Brock Roark of Roark, Ky., one son: Clifford Raymond Berry of Roark, Ky., two daughters: Bethany Akela Berry of Roark, Ky.,Kaitlin Ariel Berry of Roark, Ky., two brothers: Raymond Charles Roark and wife, Georgette of Roark, Ky. John Waylon Roark and wife, Stacy of Roark, Ky., one sister: Edith Angela Sizemore and husband, Onzie of Roark, Ky., father-in-law, Clifford Berry, Sr., of Marion North Carolina, & a host of treasured, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends to mourn her death. The funeral service for Mrs. Luella Sue Roark Berry will be conducted at 11:00 a.m- Wednesday- June 25, 2008 at the Lower Jack's Creek United Methodist Church, Roark, Ky., with Rev. John Carwell officiating. The interment will follow in the Roark Family Cemetery located at Roark, Ky., under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff.
