Wornie Baker Mrs. Mossie Kilburn born March 18, 1929 departed this life on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at the Mary Breckinridge Hospital, Hyden, Ky. She was 80 years, 3 months, & 7 days old. Mossie was born at Wooton, Ky., the daughter of the late Haze Baker & Judy Turner Baker. Mossie was a homemaker & former employee of the Frontier Nursing Service. She was affiliated with the Cutshin Missionary Church, Cutshin, Ky. Mossie enjoyed gardening & was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., living at 44 Grapevine Road, Wooton, Ky. at the time of her death. Mrs. Mossie Kilburn was preceded in death by her parents: Haze Baker & Judy Turner Baker & her husband, Charles Kilburn. Mrs. Mossie Kilburn leaves the following relatives surviving: two sons: Darrell Kilburn & wife, Patricia of Wooton, Ky., Bill Kilburn & wife, Vicky, of Wooton, Ky., one sister: Ruth Lewis of Cutshin, Ky., six grandchildren: Michael Kilburn, Bridgett Kilburn Coots, Rachel Kilburn Turner, Billy Kilburn, Lonnie Kilburn, & Dustin Kilburn, five great-grandchildren: Brianna Coots, Kendallyn Kilburn, Kyzer Kilburn, Trevon Kilburn, & Taylor Kilburn, along with a host of other treasured relatives and friends. The funeral service for Mrs. Mossie Kilburn will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. - Saturday- June 27, 2009 at the Church of God in Christ Jesus, Beatty Branch, Cutshin, Ky., with Rev. Clemmie Joseph & Rev. Wornie Baker officiating. The interment will follow in the Eli Baker Cemetery, Cutshin, Ky., under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff.
