The Obituary of Mrs. Wilma Harris Officiating Ministers: Rev. Billy Joe Lewis & Rev. Darrell Caldwell Mrs. Wilma Harris born June 28, 1940 departed this life on July 20, 2012 at her residence at 1550 Big Rock Rd. ~ Yeaddiss, KY. She was 72 years old at the time of her death. Wilma was born at Hyden, Ky. the daughter of the late Arnold Maggard & Sudie Baker Maggard. Wilma was united in marriage to Mr. K.D. Harris on March 21, 1958. Wilma was co-owner and operator of Harris Grocery with her husband, K.D. Harris. Wilma was a member of the the Pentecostal Church & was a life-long resident of Leslie and Perry County. Wilma enjoyed crocheting, word puzzles, flower gardening, canning and most of all being involved in the lives of her son, grandchildren, & great-grandchildren. Mrs. Wilma Jean Harris was preceded in death by her parents: Arnold Maggard & Sudie Baker Maggard, one sister: Mary Shell, an infant brother & daughter-in-law, Deborah " Debbie " Harris. Mrs. Wilma Jean Harris leaves the following relatives surviving: her loving and devoted husband of 54 years, K.D. Harris of Yeaddiss, Ky., one son: Arnold Douglas Harris of Yeaddiss, Ky., three grandchildren: Christy Fields & Mickey, Misty Lewis & Joey, Kristopher Douglas Harris, five great grandchildren: Dustin Fields, Matthew Lewis, Nathan Lewis, Abigail Fields, Noah Lewis, one brother-in-law, Ray Shell, special niece: Melissa Shell Reed and a host of other treasured relatives and friends. The funeral service for Mrs. Wilma Jean Harris will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. - Monday - July 23, 2012 at the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ, Smilax, Ky., with Rev. Billy Joe Lewis & Rev. Darrell Caldwell officiating. The interment will follow in the Harris Family Cemetery, Big Rock Road, Yeaddiss, Ky. The following will serve as pallbearers: Joey Lewis, Mickey Fields, Arnold Douglas Harris, Dwayne Harris, Darrell Caldwell & Jimmy Harris.
