Hwy. #421, Big Creek, Ky. was born on July 24, 1954 in Beverly, KY., the son of the late Robert Lee Bowling & Dorothy Baker Bowling. He passed away Wednesday- October 16, 2013 at the University of Tenn. Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. at the age of 59 years, 2 months & 21 days. Edward was a life-long resident of Clay Co., by occupation he was a retired coal miner. He was affliated with the Holiness Church, he enjoyed camping, hors-back riding, hunting, guns & shooting matches, cook outs & spending time with his family. Mr. Edward Bowling was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Ruth Ann Bowling, grandson: Harley Bowling, brothers: Billy James, Bristo, Troy Lee, Roger, Bleve & Earl Dean Bowling & a host of nieces & nephews. He leaves the following relatives surviving: 3 sons: Jessie Bowling & Karen of Big Creek, KY., Christopher Couch of Wooton, KY. & Jonathan Osborne of Big Creek, KY., 2 daughters: Jessica Bowling of Big Creek, KY. & Jasmine Bowling & Derrick of Essie, KY., 3 sisters: Bobbi Lee Bowling of Harlan, KY., Addie Feltner of Essie, KY. & Evelyn Bowling of Harlan, KY., 3 grandchildren: Brandon Scott Bowling, Ava Corelle Bowling & Aleahia Bowling, also a host of other relatives & friends survive. FUNERAL SERVICE: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 19, 2013 @ 12:00 NOON @ BIG CREEK HOLINESS CHURCH @ BIG CREEK, KY. INTERMENT; BOWLING FAMILY CEMETERY @ BIG CREEK, KY.
