The Obituary of Mrs. Goldie Simpson Officiating Ministers: Rev. Vernon Willard, Rev. Eugene Roberts and Rev. Fred Disney Mrs. Goldie Simpson was born on November 3, 1922 and departed this life on June 7, 2010 at her residence. She was 87 years of age at the time of her passing. She was the daughter of the late Jimmy Napier and the late Alta Sizemore Napier. She was a lifelong resident of Leslie County. By occupation she was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and reading her Bible. She was a member of the Stinnett Gap Church of God. Goldie was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband: Luther Simpson and two brothers: Edward Napier and Robert Napier. She leaves the following relatives surviving: sister: Bernadine Witt of Hoskinston, KY.; a host of nieces and nephews and special friends: Mary Disney Bowling, Wanda Chappell and Ida Brock. Funeral services for Mrs. Goldie Simpson will be conducted on Wednesday - June 9, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Stinnett Gap Church of God with Rev. Vernon Willard, Rev. Eugene Roberts and Rev. Fred Disney officiating. Burial will follow the funeral at the Manuel Howard Family Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday - June 9, 2010 beginning at 1:00 P.M. until time of funeral.
