The obituary of Mr. Carl Sizemore Officiating Ministers: Rev. Jerry Holland & Rev. James Bowling, Jr. Mr. Carl Sizemore was born October 05, 1927 & departed this life on Saturday, November 06, 2010 at the St. Joseph Hospital, London, Ky. He was 83 years old. Carl was born at Hyden, Ky., the son of the late William Sizemore & Lula Morgan Sizemore Howard. Carl was a World War II Veteran, having served in the United States Army. Carl was a retired employee of Whitaker Coal Co. & where he held the position of insurance personnel manager. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church & had been a resident of London, Ky., for the past 25 years, living at 199 Hicks Lane at the time of his death. Carl was a former resident of Leslie Co. Ky. He was responsible for securing the funding for the first bookmobile in Leslie Co. Carl enjoyed University of Ky. athletics & was an avid fisherman. Carl Sizemore was preceded in death by his parents: William Sizemore & Lula Morgan Sizemore Howard; step-father: H. B. Howard and twin brothers. Mr. Carl Sizemore leaves the following relatives surviving: his loving and devoted wife: Geri Sue Sizemore; one daughter: Mary Lou Baker & husband Terry of Shalimar, Florida; three step-sons: David Wayne Osborne & wife Rhonda of Hyden, Ky., Dwight Darwin Osborne of London, Ky. and Norman J. Lance Osborne of London, Ky.; one step-daughter: Rhonda Renee Morgan & husband Anthony of Stinnett, Ky.; two grandchildren: Nora & Virgil Lee; seven great grandchildren: Jacob, Joshua, Jarrod, Katherine, Alura, Logen and Kristopher; four step-grandchildren: Justin, Scarlett, Craig, and Aaron; two step-great grandchildren: Kristopher & Kaden; one aunt: Nettie Spurlock of Dayton, Ohio & a host of other treasured relatives and friends to mourn his death. The funeral service for Mr. Carl Sizemore will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. - Monday - November 8, 2010 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jerry Holland & Rev. James Bowling, Jr., officiating. The interment will follow at the John North Cemetery, Dryhill, Ky. with full military rites observed by the Leslie Co. D.A.V. Chapter # 133. Friends may call for visitation at 6:00 P.M. - Sunday - November 7, 2010 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home. The following will serve as pallbearers: Anthony Morgan, David Wayne Osborne, Dwight Darwin Osborne, Justin Osborne, Aaron Osborne, Paul Osborne, Norman Osborne, & Craig Morgan.
