The obituary of Mr. James Michael Brewer Officiating Minister: Rev. Alfred Smith Mr. James Michael Brewer born September 12, 1943 departed this life on March 10, 2008 at the age of 64 years, 5 months and 27 days old. He was born at Springfield, Ohio and then moved to Leslie County, Kentucky 10 years ago. By occupation he was a truck driver and was employed by International Navistar Trucking Company. James was a U.S. Navy Veteran and had served in the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of the Ohio Teamsters Union and he enjoyed playing softball, playing pool, four wheeler riding and drinking Kesslers Bourbon. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by one sister: Susan Brewer. He leaves surviving the following relatives: Wife: Zelma Jane Brewer of Wooton, KY; Four sons: Michael Brewer of Wooton, KY., Jason Allen Brewer & Cori of Montana, Jared Brewer of Ohio and James Brewer, Jr. of Ohio; Six Daughters: Julie Brewer, Michelle Dean & Husband David of Ohio, Jenny Brewer of Ohio, and Jessica Banks of Wooton, KY., Rebecca Shelton & Husband David of Nicholasville, KY., Nora Butcher of Somerset, KY.; Four Brothers: Terry Brewer of Ohio, Joe Brewer of Ohio, Bill Brewer of Ohio, Rob Brewer of Ohio. Also survived by 11 Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. James Michael Brewer will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday - March 15, 2008 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alfred Smith officiating.
