The Obituary for Noah Howard Officiating Minister: Keith Bowling Noah Howard was born on August 21, 1921, passed away on June 4, 2009 at the age of 87 years, 9 months & 14 days. Noah was born in Leslie Co., Ky., the son of the late Levi & Laura Howard. Noah was a veteran of World War II, having served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. He was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., by occupation He was a retired coal miner.Noah was a member of the Stinnett Church of Christ at Hoskinston, Ky. He enjoyed fishing, squirrel hunting & gardening. Noah Howard was preceded in death his parents: Levi & Laura Howard, his wife: Joan Mosley Howard & 1 sister: Malvia Witt He leaves the following relatives surviving: 2 sons: David Michael Howard & Elizabeth of Hoskinston, Ky. & Anthony Lynn Howard & Effie of London, Ky., 1 daughter: Debra Howard Napier & Rick of Stinnett, Ky., 6 grandchildren: Tony Howard & Amanda, Chris Howard & Renee, Rodney Howard, Scott Howard & Angel, Brian Napier & Robyn & Brittany Napier & 2 great-granddaughters: Kaidisyn Napier & Kenley Napier. Funeral service for Noah Howard will be conducted by the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home on Monday, June 8, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Stinnett Church of Christ at Hoskinston, Ky., with Keith Bowling officiating. Military rites will be observed by the Leslie Co. D.A.V. Chapter # 133 in the church yard immediately following the service. The interment will follow in the Noah & Joan Howard family cemetery at Hoskinston, Ky. Visitation will be on Sunday, June 7, 2009 at 5:00 P.M. at the Stinnett Church of Christ.
