She was the Daughter of the late Farmer & Mallie Hendrix Gross. Gaylene passed away at her residence in Hyden, KY., on Monday, December 3, 2012, at the age of 59 years, 7 months & 16 days. Gaylene was a lifelong resident of Leslie Co. By occupation she was owner & operator of Napier's Florist in Hyden, KY. Gaylene was Preceded in Death by her Parents: Farmer & Mallie Hendrix Gross; Husband: Arthur Napier; Sister: Ann Conners; Nephews: Mark Anthony Gross and Bobby Brandon Marshall. She leaves the following relatives surviving: Loving & Devoted Daughters: Christy Napier & Danny of Hyden, Ky. and Chasity Howard & Brandon of Hyden, KY.; Brothers: Clayton Gross & Laura, Harold Harris & Sheila and Odean Gross; Sisters: Loretta Cornett & Paul, Athalene Folmsbee & Ronnie and Sheila Marshall & Bob; Grandchildren: Braiden & Jacelyn & a special grand-daughter: Raegan Caldwell, also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive. Funeral service for Gaylene Gross Napier will be conducted on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home in Hyden, KY. with Pastor Wayne Bowling, Rev. Ted Couch & Larry Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in the Farmer Gross Family Cemetery at Yeaddiss, Ky. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Wally Asher, Jake Marshall, Chris Callahan, Ronnie Folmsbee, Brian Cornett, Paul David Cornett and Justin Coots.
