The Obituary for Mrs. Donna Kay Sizemore Officiating Ministers: Jerry Holland, Jerry McKinley Holland, Joe Burns, Tony Couch & Stephen Vaughn Mrs. Donna Kay Sizemore was born on February 25, 1947 and passed away on July 30, 2012 at her residence at 11405 Cumberland Falls Rd. ~ Corbin, KY. Donna was 65 years of age at the time of her passing. She was the Daughter of the late Willie Turner and the late Martha Lewis Turner and was the Wife of Floyd Jr. Sizemore. By occupation she was formerly employed by the Leslie County Board of Education for 2 years and Retired as a Social Worker working for Kentucky Social Services for 27 years. She was a lifelong resident of Leslie County with the exception of living in Corbin, KY. for 13 months. Donna Kay was a Member of the East London Holiness Church in London, KY. She enjoyed watching UK basketball, flower gardening, but most importantly she loved being involved in the lives of her family & helping others. She was Preceded in Death by: Parents: Willie Turner & Martha Lewis Turner; Brothers: Jim and Hobert Turner; Sisters: Cinda Causey, Mary Burnett, Tilda Lewis and Gracie Lewis. Mrs. Donna Kay Sizemore leaves the following relatives surviving: Loving & Devoted Husband: Floyd Jr. Sizemore of Corbin, KY.; Son: Ott Sizemore & Jenny of Corbin, KY.; Daughters: Cindy Lee Whitaker & Mac of Corbin, KY. and Greta Cornett of Hyden, KY.; Brothers: Ronnie Turner of Hyden, KY. and Winfred Turner of Yeaddiss, KY.; Grandchildren: Floyd Whitaker & Melissa, Leah Sizemore, Gary Sizemore, Donna Sizemore, Mackenzie Whitaker, Tanner Sizemore and Hollee Sizemore; Great Granddaughter: Addison Nicole Whitaker; Special Friends: Dr. Anita Cornett, Randeana Collett and Alice Lee Turner Smith. Funeral services for Mrs. Donna Kay Sizemore will be conducted on Friday ~ August 3, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the East London Holiness Church in London, KY. with Jerry Holland, Jerry McKinley Holland, Joe Burns, Tony Couch & Stephen Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in the Collins Family Cemetery in Hyden, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Jamie Bolinger, Ricky Dwayne Sizemore, Mac Whitaker, Rod Ledford, Patrick Turner, Michael Turner, Ronnie Allen Turner & Willie Causey. Visitation will be on Wednesday ~ August 1, 2012 at 6:00 P.M., all day Thursday and until Funeral Service at 1:00 P.M. on Friday at the Church.
