The Obituary of Mr. Odell Hicks Mr. Odell Hicks born September 30, 1938 departed this life on Monday, December 30, 2013 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center, Hazard, Ky. He was 75 years old. Odell was born in Pioneer, Tennessee the son of the late Albert Hicks & Lula Bieard Hicks. Odell served honorably in the United States Army. He was retired from the maintenance department of McCalls. Odell spent over 30 years of his life residing in Dayton, Ohio & had been a resident of Essie, Ky. for the past 5 years. Mr. Odell Hicks was preceded in death by his parents: his wife: Barbara Hall Hicks, one sister: Goldie Criner and one brother: Rube Hicks. Mr. Odell Hicks leaves the following relatives surviving: his beloved daughter: Delone Taylor and husband, Daniel of Essie, Ky., one sister: Derushia McGhee of Newcomb, Tennessee, three grandchildren: Brittany McIntosh, Nathaniel Taylor, Kourtney Taylor, three great grandchildren Aubree McIntosh, Adriana McIntosh, Akira McIntosh and a host of treasured nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
