The obituary of Mr. Leonard Fields Officiating Minister: Brother Larry Lewis Mr. Leonard Fields was born on July 29, 1935 and departed this life on September 23, 2010 at the St. Joseph Hospital, Berea, Ky. He was 75 years old. Leonard was born at Smilax, Ky. the son of the late Bradley Fields & the late Matilda Williams Fields. Leonard was a member of the Church of God in Christ Jesus, Beatty Branch, Cutshin, Ky. He enjoyed going to church & spending time with his family and friends. Leonard was a life-long resident of Leslie Co. Mr. Leonard Fields was preceded in death by his parents: Bradley & Matilda Williams Fields; mother of his children: Alene Lewis Fields; two sisters: Hazel Scott & Nannie Lewis and one brother: Buster Fields. He leaves surviving the following relatives: two sons: Leonard E. Fields & Marlene and Kenneth R. Fields & Mary all of Wooton, KY; two daughters: Ada L. Fields and Marsha A. Fields both of Wooton, KY; two brothers: Leroy Fields & Bernice and Marion Fields & Cynthia; five sisters: Abby Combs, Geraldine Kirk, Wilma Ryans, Bonnie Skeens and Thelma Day; seven grandchildren: Savannah Williams, Kenny Ray Fields, Jason David Fields, Kandace E. Fields, Courtney Fields, Brandon S. Fields & Crystal and Rosalind M. Fields; two great grandchildren: Braelyn Allayrace Fields and Jerron Dillon Fields. Also survived by a very special little friend: Bobby Connor Russell and a host of other treasured relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Leonard Fields will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. - Tuesday - September 28, 2010 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Larry Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Levi Lewis Cemetery located at Smilax (Levi's Branch), Kentucky. Friends may call for visitation at 5:00 p.m. Monday - September 27, 2010 at the funeral home chapel.
