John Eldridge, Jr.

The Obituary of Mr. John Eldridge, Jr. Mr. John Eldridge born March 13, 1959 departed this life on October 12, 2011 at the age of 52 years. He was born at Hyden, Kentucky the son of the late John Eldridge, Sr. and the late Sinda Stidham Eldridge. By occupation John was a retired Lineman and had worked for the Pike Electric Company. John enjoyed carpentry, fishing and deer hunting , but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was affiliated with the Lower Grassy Branch Church of Christ at Busy, Kentucky. Mr. John Eldridge, Jr. was a life long resident of Leslie County. He was preceded in death by his parents: John and Sinda, one sister; Eula Crane, one brother: Wilbert Lee He leaves surviving the following relatives: his loving and devoted wife: Rosemary Howard Eldridge of Busy, KY, eleven sons: John Hence Eldridge & Shona of Hazard, KY, Shaun Eldridge & Michelle of Busy, KY, Anthony Eldridge of Busy, Ky, Raleigh Eldridge of Busy, Ky, Joseph Eldridge of Busy, Ky Tayshaun Eldridge of Busy, Ky, Braxton Eldridge of Busy, Ky, Rury Eldridge of Busy, KY Alex Mosher of Danville, Ky, Greg Collett of Yeaddiss, Ky and Sab, seven daughters: Dianna Eldridge of Busy, Ky, Susan Eldridge of Busy, KY, Ebony Eldridge of Busy, KY, Charity Eldridge of Busy, KY, Aliyeh Eldridge of Busy, KY, Cameron Eldridge of Busy, KY and Tessa Eldridge of Busy, KY three brothers: Raleigh Eldridge & Rosetta of Shepherdsville, KY, Willie Eldridge & Lydia of Somerset, KY and A.J. Eldridge & Pam of New Jersey, two sisters: Sandra Rogers of Busy, Ky, and Shelia Colwell & leon of Shepherdsville, KY, ten grandchildren: Anthony, Kelsi, Shaun Tyler, Ethan, Sydni, Dustin, Jaiden, Arissa, Kobee and Makayla. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. John Eldridge, Jr. will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the Grassy Branch Church of Christ at Busy, KY, with Keith Bowling and Tony Colwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Baker Cemetery at Busy, Kentucky. Friends may call for visitation at 6:00 p.m., Friday, October 14, 2011 at the church.
