The obituary of Mrs. Marie Sizemore Napier Officiating Ministers: Rev. Teddy Couch Rev. Andrew Farmer Mrs. Marie Sizemore Napier born August 23, 1924 departed this life on August 27, 2010 at the age of 86 years. She was born at Hyden, Kentucky the daughter of the late Joe Bryant Sizemore and the late Laura Asher Sizemore. By occupation she was a homemaker and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, Kentucky. Mrs. Marie Napier was a member of the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church and enjoyed gardening, cooking and flower gardening. Marie was preceded in death by her parents: Joe and Laura Sizemore, husband Hamp Napier, one daughter: Rita Napier Eversole and one sister: Lillie Sizemore. She leaves surviving the following relatives: five sons: Robert Napier & Lizette of Hyden, KY, Joe Napier & Sandra of Hyden, KY, Roger Napier & Cindy of Kettering, OH, Richard Napier & Debra of Stinnett, KY and Randy Napier & Alice Ruth of Hyden, KY; one daughter: Rosita Gaunt & Jeff of Trenton, OH; one brother: William Homer Sizemore of Lexington, KY and one sister: Drucilla Combs of Hyden, KY. Mrs. Marie Napier is also survived by 19 grandchildren and a host of Great and a host of Great Great Grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Sizemore Napier will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday - August 30, 2010 at the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church with Rev. Teddy Couch and Rev. Andrew Farmer officiating. Friends may call for visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the church. Burial will be at the Laurel Fork Cemetery located at Hyden, KY under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff. The following will serve as pallbearers: Shane Napier, Wayne Napier, Travis Napier, Brian Napier, Brannon Napier, Brent Napier, Brandon Ashton and Mike Taulbee.
