The Obituary of Mr. Michael Glenn Pollard Officiating Minister: Rev. Jerry Brown Mr. Michael Glenn Pollard born April 5, 1959 departed this life on May 15, 2010 at the age of 51 years. He was born at Ardmore, Oklahoma the son of William O. Pollard and Viola Wells Pollard. Mr. Michael G. Pollard was a retired Chief Petty Officer with the U.S. Navy. He served as a former Leslie County Solid Waste Cordinator, Field Representative with the Pride organization, Former School Board Member. Mike was a small business owner and a life-long member of the DAV. Mike enjoyed woodworking, photography but especially playing with his grandkids. Mr. Michael Glenn Pollard was preceded in death by one brother: Chelsea Wayne Pollard. He leaves surviving the following relatives:parents: William and Viola Pollard of Smilax, KY, wife: Elaine Sizemore Pollard of London, KY, one son: Brandon Wilson & Samantha Leanne of Somerset, KY, one daughter: Rebecca Dealrymple & Richard of London, KY, mother-in-law: Effie Muncy & Martin of Hoskinston, KY, three brothers: William E. Pollard & Ollie of Wooton, KY, James Denver Pollard & Carol of Wooton, KY, Bobby Pollard & Lenore of Hindman, KY, one sister: Barbara Anne Leary of Wooton, KY, two grandchildren: Emily Sizemore and Isabella Sizemore. Mr. Michael Glenn Pollard is also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Michael Glenn Pollard will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday-May 18, 2010 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Wells Family Cemetery located at Smilax, Kentucky. Full Military Rites will be observed by the Leslie County DAV Chapter #133. The following will serve as pallbearers: Ronnie Wells, John Sizemore, Greg Wells, Richard Wells and George Maggard.
