Adams was born July 1, 1940 in Wendover, KY. and passed away on Tuesday ~ June 28, 2011 at the Saint Joseph Hospital in London, KY. He was 70 years of age at the time of his passing. Hobert was the Son of the late Raleigh Adams and the late Maryann Baker Adams. Hobert was the Husband of Emma Jane Adams for 50 years. They married on August 29, 1960. By occupation he was Retired from the U.S. Army, where he served honorably. He was a resident of London, KY. for 7 years at the time of his passing, coming from Lexington, KY. Hobert was a Life Member of the Leslie County DAV Chapter 133, a Member of the Retired Enlisted Association and a Member of Association of the United States Army. He was Preceded in Death by: Parents: Raleigh & Maryann; Brothers: Robert, Wilson, McArthur& Roscoe; Sisters: Elsie Cornett and Elvie Adams. Mr. Hobert S. Adams leaves the following relatives surviving: Loving & Devoted Wife: Emma Jane Adams of London, KY.; Daughters: Shirlene Martin of Ohio, Paulette Burks of Edmonton, KY. and Sheila K. Adams of London, KY.; Sister: Delphie Mease & Mike of Chandler, Arizona; Special Nephew: Jack Cornett; Grandchildren: Hobert Leon Morgan, Misty Dawn Morgan, Dara Kaylene Burks and Carley Jane Thomas; Great Grandchildren: Bailey Scott, Addison Morgan and Izabella Kaylene Blevins & Very Special Friends: Wayne & Jill Osborne & Son: Lucas of London, KY. Funeral services for Mr. Hobert S. Adams will be conducted on Friday ~ July 1, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel ~ Hyden, KY. with Rev. Billy Joe Lewis & Rev. Larry Callahan officiating. Burial will follow in the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ Cemetery at Smilax, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Jack Cornett, Hobie Morgan, Wayne Osborne and Josh Blevins.
