The Obituary of Ms. Lucretia Sizemore Officiating Ministers: Rev. John Newell & Rev. Tim Reynolds Eulogy: George William Wyatt Ms. Lucretia Sizemore was born on July 7, 1941 in Hyden, KY. and departed this life on March 2, 2013 at the Mary Breckinridge ARH Hospital in Hyden, KY. She was 71 years of age at the time of her passing. Lucretia was the daughter of the late Bill Sizemore & the late Jane Lewis Sizemore. Lucretia received her Bachelor's Degree from Cumberland College & her Master's Degree from Eastern Kentucky University. She had a very distinguished career as an Educator, retiring with 26 years of service in 2006. Lucretia was the past President of the Leslie County Chapter of the Kentucky Retired Teacher's Association. She was also very active as a volunteer in the Mary Breckinridge Hospital Gift Shop & was the past President of the Mary Breckinridge Hospital Auxiliary. Lucretia was affiliated with the Central Presbyterian Church, Hyden, KY. and was a lifelong resident of Leslie Co. She enjoyed coon hunting, was an avid University of Kentucky sports fan & treasured being involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren. She was Preceded in Death by her: Parents: Bill Sizemore & Jane Lewis Sizemore; Brothers: Rev. Billy Sizemore & Walter Sizemore. Ms. Lucretia Sizemore leaves the following relatives surviving: Son: Eddie Sizemore & wife Cheryl of New Albany, IN.; Daughters: Oma Jane Woods & husband, Troy of Hyden, KY. and Melissa Sizemore-Smith and husband, Jerry of Manchester, KY.; Brothers: Tom Sizemore and wife, Jewell of Belbrook, OH., David Sizemore and wife, Connie, of Winchester, KY. and George Ralph Sizemore and wife, Mollie of Hyden, KY.; Sisters: Anita Schaeffer of Ashland, KY., Joyce Moore and husband, Jim of North Palm Beach, FL.; Grandchildren: Mallory Sizemore, Billy Darryl Sizemore, Michele Ngaiza and husband, Edwin, Candi Sizmore-Crawford & husband, Sloan, Hayden Sizemore, Troy Woods, Alissa Woods, & a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral service for Ms. Lucretia Sizemore will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. - Tuesday - March 5, 2013 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY. with Rev. John Newell, Rev. Tim Reynolds officiating & the Eulogy will be presented by Lucretia's Nephew, George William Wyatt. Burial will follow in the Lewis-Chappell Cemetery, Hyden, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: George Wyatt, Billy Sizemore, Hayden Sizemore, Troy A. Woods, Ryan Sizemore, Tyler Wyatt, Jerry Smith, Edwin Ngaiza, Aaron Navarro & Troy L. Woods & Honorary Pallbearers: James Lewis, Harry Schaeffer, Jeff Schaeffer, Randy Sizemore, Lyndall Harned, Justin Harned, Brown Sizemore & Howard Sizemore.
