The Obituary of Mr. Homer Causey Officiating Ministers: Larry Hendrix and Chris Sale Mr. Homer Causey was born on December 15, 1924 and departed this life on December 4, 2011 at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Bea Jump and husband, Tom, located at 47 Solid Rock Rd ~ Wooton, KY. He was 86 years of age at the time of his passing. Homer was born at Beechbottom Branch, Cutshin, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Stephen Causey and the late Sara Bell Callahan Causey. By occupation Homer was a retired coal miner and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, KY. He enjoyed gardening, black-smithing, woodworking as his hobbies. Mr. Homer Causey was devoted to his family and was a member of the Hurts Creek Church of Christ. He was Preceded in Death by his Parents: Stephen and Sara Causey; one Son: Harold Gene Causey,; three Sisters and eight Brothers. He leaves surviving the following relatives: his Wife: Eulene Maggard Causey of Wooton, KY.; Daughters: Carolyn Stecht & Dave of Morning View, KY., Bea Jump & Tom of Wooton, KY. and Connie Selm of Independence, KY.; Son: Larry Homer Causey & Ruby of Dry Ridge, KY; Daughter-In-Law: Janice Maggard Causey; two Brothers: Clarence Causey & Billie Jean of Loveland, OH. and Felix Causey & Peggy of Annville, KY.; one Sister: Perlina Stidham & Carl of Leland, N.C.; eight Grandchildren: Glinda Mathis, Kessia Causey, David Stecht, Carol Stewart, Cathy Guerra, Tara Selm, Ben Causey and Joshua Causey. He is also survived by 7 Great Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Homer Causey will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday ~ Dec. 8, 2011 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Hendrix and Chris Sale officiating. The interment will follow in the Causey Family Cemetery at Wooton, KY. with the following Pallbearers: David Stecht, Ben Causey, Joshua Causey, Jason Stewart, Justin Hager, Clarnece Causey, Angel Guerra and the daughters of Homer Causey.
