The obituary of Ms. Ada Wolfe. Officiating ministers: Mark Tabata. Ms. Ada Wolfe was born on November 16, 1929 and departed this life on January 12, 2009 at the age of 79 years, 1 month, and 27 days. She was residing in Wooton at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Fulton Hensley and the late Lona Creech. By occupation she was a substitute cook, a dairy farmer, she worked for the telephone company, as well as being a homemaker. One of her hobbies included quilting. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Leonard Wolfe; brothers: Astor and Arthur Hensley; and one sister: Beulah Vance. She leaves surviving the following relatives: one son: Taylor Wells & Mary Katherine of Busy, KY; three daughters: Fern Adams of Hyden, KY, Sheenia Griffith & Elbert of Attica, IN, and Patricia Griffith & Kenneth of Wooton, KY; one brother: Coleman Hensley of Independence, KY; one sister: Mavis Fields of London, KY; eleven grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren. A host of other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral services for Ms. Ada Wolfe will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home with Mark Tabata officiating. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Creech Cemetery in Wooton, KY immediately following the service under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home staff.
