By occupation she was a retired Sales Clerk at S&T Hardware, Hyden, KY. Mary Jane's hobbies included gardening, canning food & she loved animals. Most importantly she treasured being involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren. She was Preceded in Death by: Parents: Allen Chappell & Oma Nantz Chappell; Brothers: Stanley Chappell Harvey Chappell and Logan Chappell; Daughter: Nancy Sergent; Son-In-Law: Burl Whitt. Mrs. Mary Jane Chappell Napier leaves the following relatives surviving: Son: Jimmy Napier & wife, Charlotte of Hyden, KY.; Daughter: Carol Whitt of Prestonsburg, KY.; Sister-In-Law: Fern Chappell of Hyden, KY.; Brother: Lowell Chappell & wife, Mae Of Stinnett, KY.; Sisters: Mona Baker of Hyden, KY. and Hazel Collett of Roark, KY.; Grandchildren: Bobby Elkin & Choe Sergent; Great Grandchildren & a host of other relatives and friends survive. The funeral service for Mrs. Mary Jane Chappell Napier will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. - Monday - March 4, 2013 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY. with Choe Sergent officiating. The interment will follow in the Lewis-Chappell Family Cemetery Hyden, KY. Visitation will be on Sunday - March 3, 2013 beginning at 5:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel.
