Fred Rose

The Obituary of Mr. Fred Rose Officiating Minister: Rev. Logan Roberts Mr. Fred Rose was born on September 28, 1918 in Wallins, KY. (Harlan County) and passed away on Monday ~ December 31, 2012 at the Mary Breckinridge~ARH in Hyden, KY. He was residing in Helton, KY. and was 94 years of age at the time of his passing. Fred was the Son of the late Henry Rose and the late Rosa Slusher Rose. He was the Husband of Virginia "Virgie" Fultz Rose. By occupation Fred was a formerly employed as a Saw Mill Employee, Farmer and LKLP Employee. Fred also served honorably in the 3 C's. He was a lifelong resident of Leslie County and was a Member of the Mozelle Pentecostal Church. Fred enjoyed gardening and squirrel hunting as hobbies. He was Preceded in Death by his: Parents: Henry Rose & Rosa Slusher Rose; Son: Anthony "Tony" Rose; Twin Sister: Edna Rose Estridge; Sister: Martha Rose North; Brother: Roy Rose. Fred leaves the following relatives surviving: Wife: Virginia "Virgie" Fultz Rose of Helton, KY.; Son: Randall Craig Rose of Helton, KY.; Daughters: Bonnie Bowling of Cincinnati, OH. and Glenda Sue Rose of Helton, KY.; Brother: Jim Rose of Dayton, OH.; Sister: Emma Rose Napier of Dayton, OH.; Grandchildren: Eric Craig Rose, Mitchell Bowling and Tina Bowling Roempp; A host of Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Fred Rose will be conducted on Thursday ~ January 3, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Mozelle Pentecostal Church with Rev. Logan Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery in Bledsoe, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Eric Craig Rose, Matthew Tallent, Clayton Nantz and Dave North.
