The Obituary of Mr. Hobert "Buck" Hoskins, Jr. Officiating Minister: Pastor Wayne Bowling Mr. Hobert "Buck" Hoskins, Jr. was born on March 11, 1948 in Stinnett, KY. and passed away on Monday, June 4, 2012 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center in Hazard, KY. at the age 64 years. Hobert was the Son of Eunice "Jackie" Hoskins and the late Hobert Hoskins, Sr. and was the Husband of Barbara Bowling Hoskins. By occupation Hobert was a Coal Truck Driver employed by Shamrock Coal and was formerly employed by GM. Hobert also served honorably in the US Army. Hobert was a lifelong resident of Leslie County with the exception of living in Ohio for 10 years. He was affiliated with the Stinnett Church of Christ and enjoyed fishing, watching sports and gardening as hobbies. Hobert was Preceded in Death by: Father: Hobert Hoskins, Sr.; Brother: Freeman "Shorty" Hoskins. He leaves the following relatives surviving: Wife: Barbara Bowling Hoskins of Asher, KY.; Mother: Eunice "Jackie" Hoskins of Stinnett, KY.; Daughter: Dena Hoskins Bentley & Paul of Hyden, KY.; Sisters: Yvonne Hacker of Stinnett, KY. and Phyllis Morgan & Leo of Dayton, OH.; Grandsons: Brandon & Matt Bentley; Nephews: Stephen Davidson, Jimmy Bray, Johnny Bray, Zack Freeman Hoskins and Deronnie Hoskins; Nieces: Donna Davidson, Ava Hacker & Renee Stidham; A Very Special Person: Carty Renee Morgan Joseph; A host of treasured great nieces & nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Hobert "Buck" Hoskins, Jr. will be conducted on Thursday ~ June 7, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Bowling officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowling Family Cemetery ~ Asher, KY. Military Rites will be observed by the Leslie County DAV Chapter #133. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Stephen Davidson, James Joseph, Cecil Hoskins, Jimmy Bray, Dan Hoskins, Rick Roberts and Paul Bentley. The following will serve as Honorary Pallbearers: Paul Hoskins, Gene Hoskins, Brandon Bentley, Matt Bentley, Brown Sizemore and Julius Roark.
