He passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at his residence in Ghent, Ky. at the age 64 years,9 months & 21 days. James was a retired machine operator for Arvin-Meritor (formerly Dayton Walther). James was preceded in death by his parents: Charlie & Edith Griffie, sisters: Jeanette Woods & Irene Neal & brothers: John & Johnny Griffie. He leaves the following relatives surviving: wife: Pamela Jane Ragon Griffie of Ghent, KY., daughters: Janel Eisinger & Eric of Springfield, Ohio & Jamie Heimkreiter & Jonathan of Loveland, Ohio, adopted son: Greg Noble & Teresa of Middletown, Ohio, sisters: Jean Bray of Stinnett, Ky., Mollie Bowling & Bradley of Oneida, Ky., Ruby Mason & Junior of Moraine, Ohio, Della Pollard of Union Ohio, Brenda Begley & James of Sizerock, Ky. & Louise Griffie of Sizerock, KY. brothers: Clifton Griffie & Julie of Germantown, Ohio & David Griffie & Linda of West Carrollton, Ohio, grandchildrern: Andrea Eisinger of Springfield, Ohio & Stephen James Heimkreiter of Loveland, Ohio. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive. Funeral service will be conducted will be conducted on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church at Hyden, Ky., with Rev.Ronald Tiller officiating. Interment will follow in the Griffie Family Cemetery at Sizerock, KY.
