The obituary of Ada Lee Stamper Couch Officiating Ministers: Rev. Billy Joe Lewis & Rev. Geoffery Roberts Ms. Ada Lee Stamper Couch was born on December 14, 1945 and departed this life on March 2, 2011 at the age of 65 years. She was born at Hazard, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Garrett Stamper and the late Mary Collins Stamper. By occupation she was a homemaker and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. Ada Lee Couch was a member of the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ and also enjoyed watching the WJLC Christian T.V. Program. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren & being involved in their lives. She especially enjoyed cooking for her family. Ada Lee was an avid U.K. Basketball Fan and she enjoyed camping. She was preceded in death by her parents: Garrett & Mary Stamper; three sisters: Lois Ann Maggard, Wanda Faye Honeycutt and Phyllis Helen Cox. Ada Lee leaves surviving the following relatives: two sons: Dwayne "Cotton" Couch & Traci of Wooton, KY., Brian Couch & Cynthia of London, KY.; one daughter: Sheila Couch of Wooton, KY.; one sister: Dorothy Kay Thompson & Darrell L. of Dayton, KY.; three grandchildren: Ryan Couch, Gunnar Cade Couch and Brianna Couch. Ada Lee is also survived by the Father of her Children: Tommy Couch of Wooton, KY.; & a Special Great Niece: Tabatha Nacole Maggard and a Special Best Friend: Joyce Clark Day. She also leaves surviving a host of treasured nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews as well as other relatives, friends and neighbors. Funeral services for Ada Lee Stamper Couch will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday - March 5, 2011 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Joe Lewis and Rev. Geoffery Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Maude Dixon Cemetery at Wooton, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Danny Cox, Gary Maggard, Ryan Couch, Mike Cox, Tony Thompson and Shane Adams.
