The Obituary for Mr. Sheldon Morgan Officiating Minister: Rev. Wayne Bowling Mr. Sheldon Morgan was born on January 3, 1938 in Hyden, KY. and departed this life on November 27, 2010 at his residence in Hyden, KY. He was the son of the late Almer Morgan and the late Susie Sizemore Morgan. By occupation Sheldon was a car repairmen & salvage worker. He was also a veteran of the United States Marine Corp (Korean Conflict). He had been a resident of Leslie County for the last 13 years coming from Ohio. He was affiliated with the Church of God and enjoyed ATV riding and being involved in the lives of his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; Son: Gregory Steven; Brothers: Raymond, Rodney & Bernie; Sisters: Floice Dennis and June Lamb. Mr. Sheldon Morgan leaves the following relatives surviving: Mother of Children: Pauline Barger Morgan of Ohio; Son: Charles Richard "Ricky" Morgan of Hillsboro, OH.; Step Sons: Harold Barger of Texas and Michael Barger & Susanne of Hillsboro, OH.; Daughter: Wilma Sue Morgan of AR.; Brothers: Phillip Morgan of TN. and Carlos Morgan of OH.; Sisters: Daisy Wright of TN. and Geraldine Payne of Morrow, OH.; 6 Grandchildren: Charles, Raquel, Travis, Melinda Sue, John and Josh; 4 Great Grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Sheldon Morgan will be conducted on 2:00 P.M. Wednesday - Dec. 1, 2010 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Bowling officiating. Burial will follow the funeral services at the Morgan Family Cemetery in Hyden, KY. Military Rites will be observed by the Leslie County DAV Chapter #133. Friends may call for visitation beginning at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday - Dec. 1, 2010 until time of funeral at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
