She was 56 years, 11 months & 13 days old. Beulah was born at Hyden, Ky., the daughter of the late Dillard & Dovie Pennington Day. She was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., By occupation, Beulah was a retired Dietary Manager for the Hyden Nursing Home in Hyden, Ky.She was a member of the Smilax Church of Christ at Smilax, Ky. Beulah enjoyed spending time with her family & traveling. Beulah Day Williams was preceded in death by her parents & her husband: Herman Williams She leaves the following relatives surviving: 2 sons: Randy Williams & Kelly of Hyden, Ky. & Shannon Williams & Heather of East Bernstadt, Ky., 1 brother: David Day & Betty of Smilax, KY., 4 grandchildren: Mckenzie, Adam, Alex & Taylor, special nephews: Michael Day & Jackie of Danville, West Virginia & Scottie Day & Kristi of Florence, Ky., great nieces & nephews: Andrew, Ashley, Dalton & Isabella & 2 very special friends: Peggy Coots & Jr. & Ronnie Whitehead. Funeral service for Beulah Day Williams will be conducted on Sunday, September 27, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Danny Day, Harold Turner & Paul Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Larkin Lewis Cemetery at Smilax, Ky. The following will serve as pallbearers:Russell Melton, Todd Horton, Kevin Gay, Donnie Clark, Shawn Webb & Scott Dixon. Visitation will be on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 6:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel.In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leslie Co.
