The Obituary of Mrs. Masie Lewis Officiating Ministers: Rev. Randy Woods, Rev. Don Kilburn & Rev. Billy Joe Lewis Mrs. Masie Lewis was born on April 13, 1928 and departed this life on May 21, 2011 at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Mildred Davidson & husband, Jerry @ Yeaddiss, Ky. Masie was born at Yeaddiss, Ky., the daughter of the late Beaver Lewis & Hettie Jane Joseph. Massie was a member of the Big Fork Church of God & was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, working with flowers, & crocheting as hobbies. Massie was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., living at 3505 Wolfe Creek Road, Yeaddiss, Ky. at the time of her death. Masie was preceded in death by: her Parents; her Loving and Devoted Husband: Lue Lewis; one Son: Hobert Lewis; three Brothers: Dave, Jim, & Arthur; three Sisters: Betty, Martha, & Maggie; & one special nephew: Lonnie Maggard. Mrs. Masie Lewis leaves the following relatives surviving: two Daughters: Mildred Davidson & husband, Jerry and Alene Coots and husband, Chuck both of Yeaddiss, Ky.; one Sister: Beatrice Lewis; six treasured Grandchildren: Greg Davidson, Jeff Davidson, Tabatha Davidson, Kelvin Chuck Coots, Kristy Lewis, & Joey Lewis; & seven treasured Great-Grandchildren; Special Nephews: Douglas Collins and C. B. France; Special Nieces: Delphia Stidham, Geraldine Sizemore & Ruby Joseph; Special Friend: Etta Burkhart. The funeral service for Mrs. Masie Lewis will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. - Wednesday - May 25, 2011 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Woods, Rev. Don Kilburn & Rev. Billy Joe Lewis officiating. The interment will follow in the Lue Lewis Family Cemetery at Yeaddiss, Ky. Friends may call visitation for visitation at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home after 4:00 p.m. - Tuesday - May 24, 2011 with additional services to be conducted at 7:00 P.M. The following Grandsons will serve as pallbearers: Greg Davidson, Jeff Davidson, Kelvin Coots, & Joey Lewis.
