The Obituary of Mrs. Lillian Rose Turner Officiating Ministers: Rev. Douglas William Turner and Bro. Ned Turner Mrs. Lillian Rose Turner was born on October 5, 1948 in Mississippi and passed away on June 22, 2012 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY. She was 63 years of age at the time of her passing. Lillian was the Daughter of the late Buford & Lorene Phelps Overstreet and the Wife of Bro. Ned Turner. By occupation Lillian was a Homemaker. She had been a resident of Kentucky for the past 20 years. Lillian was a Member of the Middlefork Community Holiness Church and was a Teenage Sunday School Teacher. She enjoyed sewing, flower gardening & missionary work as hobbies. She was Preceded in Death: Parents: Buford & Lorene Phelps Overstreet; Brother: Douglas Overstreet. Lillian leaves the following relatives surviving: her loving & devoted husband of 44 years: Bro. Ned Turner of Mozelle, KY.; Sons: Ned Turner, Jr. of Columbus, IN., James Wilbert Turner of Nicholasville, KY. and Rev. Douglas William Turner & Lilly of Helton, KY.; Daughter: Saundra Lynn Begley & Rodger of Busy, KY.; Brother: Mike Overstreet of Bedford, IN.; Sisters: Betty Holowell of Bedford, IN. and Kathy Lucille Similar & Gordon of Seymour, IN.; Grandchildren: Shanna Nicole, Cassie Marie, Courtney Lynn, Rodger Scott, John Eric Douglas, James Wilbert, Thomas William, William Joseph and Felicity Rochelle. Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Rose Turner will be conducted on Monday ~ June 25, 2012 at 12:00 Noon at the Lower Middlefork Pentecostal Church ~ Asher, KY. with Rev. Douglas William Turner & Bro. Ned Turner officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose of Sharon Cemetery ~ Mozelle, KY. The following will serve as pallbearers: Ned Turner, James Turner, Doug Turner, Scott Begley, James Turner, Eric Turner, Thomas Turner and Willy Turner.
