Bowling Mr. Charlie Clifford Norris was born on March 26, 1946 and departed this life on December 7, 2009 at his residence at 53 Collins Drive Thousandsticks, KY. He was 63 years of age at the time of his death. Charlie was the son of the late John Norris and the late Ada Odell Norris. He was a resident of Leslie County for 33 years. He was a retired brick masonry. He was a member of the Thousandsticks United Methodist Church and enjoyed being with his grandchildren, hunting and riding his four-wheeler. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Willis Norris and John Norris, Jr.; one sister: Adell Petty. He leaves the following relatives surviving: wife: Sue Norris of Hyden, KY.; daughter: Kristi Couch & Shane of Hyden, KY.; grandchildren: Dylan Chase Couch, Katelyn Sue Asher and Laura Elizabeth Couch; step grandson: Richie Cheyenne Couch and a host of other nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Charlie Clifford Norris will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. - Wednesday - December 9, 2009 at the Thousandsticks United Methodist Church. The interment will follow the funeral at the Collins Cemetery in Thousandsticks, KY. Friends may call for visitation from 6-9 P.M. - Tuesday - December 8, 2009 at the church. The following will serve as pallbearers: Shane Couch, Troy Issacs, James Norris, Robert Smith, Donald Eldridge, Joey Collins, Jackie Collins, David Engle and Lamar Norris.
