Lucille Hoskins Brannon

The obituary of Mrs. Lucille Brannon. Officiating Minister: Rev. Richard Guerrant. Mrs. Lucille Hoskins Brannon was born on February 24, 1923 and departed this life on July 26, 2009 at the age of 86 years 5 months, and 2 days. She was the daughter of the late Will C. Hoskins and the late Gladys Eversole. By occupation she was the owner of a restaurant, a co-owner of a Hyden Car Wash and Hyco Trailer Park. She attended Sue Bennett College in London, KY and was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church in Hyden, KY. She was preceded in death by the following: parents; husband: Marvin Brannon; one son: William Russell Brannon, one sister: Annette. She leaves surviving the following relatives: one brother: William Rush Hoskins & Elizabeth of Middletown, OH; one sister: Betty J. Revis & Walter of Beavercreek, OH; five nieces: Jennifer McCord & Howard, Diane Skelly, Deborah Hartley & Robert, Jill Fritz & Greg, Auda McCoy & Merle; three nephews: George "Scottie" Revis & Cora, Harry Storm & Judy, and Arthur Ray Adams. The family would also like to take this opportunity to express their sincere appreciation and heart-felt thanks to the following caregivers: Wilma Roberts, Polly North, Glenda Fields, Anna Hoskins, Velma Walker, Connie Caldwell, and Patty Miller, and to Erma Wenger for the hours of music she provided. A host of other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Brannon will be held on Wednesday, July 29, at 1:00 p.m. at the Central Presbyterian Church in Hyden, KY. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at the church. Burial will take place at the Hoskins Family Cemetery in Hoskinston, KY.
