The Obituary of Mrs. Mollie Pitts Officiating Ministers Rev. Billy Joe Lewis Rev. Don Kilburn Mrs. Mollie Pitts born October 4, 1929 departed this life on March 21, 2008 at the age of 78 years, 5 months and 17 days old. She was born at Cutshin, Kentucky the daughter of the late Felix Maggard and the late Ruthie Jane Callahan Maggard. By occupation she was a homemaker and a self employed care-giver. Mollie was a member of the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ and had been a life-long resident of Lelsie County, KY. She enjoyed quilting, taking care of the elderly, gardening and playing jokes. Mollie was preceded in death by her parents: Felix & Ruthie Maggard; six brothers: Arnold, Arbert, Reuben, 3 infant brothers; three sisters: Ellen Maggard, Nancy Maggard & Rachel Mitchell; one daughter: Patsy Ann Simpson; one grandchild: James Curtis Simpson; two great grandchildren: Jimmy Allen Mitchell & infant Great Grandchild. She leaves surviving the following relatives: Husband: Roy Pitts of Smilax, KY; One Son: Roy Pitts, Jr. & Sharon Langdon of Cutshin, KY.; Five Daughters: Jacquline Collett & Forest Scott of Stinnett, KY.; Kathleen Fouts & Russell of Yeaddiss, KY.; Maxine Mitchell & Jimmy of Cutshin, KY.; Brenda Ray Clark & Lewis , Jr. of Smilax, KY.; Darlene Clark & Martin of Smilax, KY.; One Sister: Janice York of Hyden, KY.; Eleven Grandchildren: Terri Lynn Heatwole, Russell Dean Fouts, Patrick Simpson, Kenneth Simpson, Rodney Simpson, Jimmy Bryan Mitchell, Alex Mitchell, Kelly Clark, Tracie Brock, Jonathan Clark and Casey Clark also survived by 11 Great Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services for Mrs. Mollie Pitts will be held at 1 p.m. -Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ at Smilax, KY with Rev. Billy Joe Lewis and Rev. Don Kilburn officiating. Interment will follow in the Roy & Mollie Pitts Family Cemetery at Hendrix Branch, Smilax, KY. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m.-Monday, March 24, 2008 at the church. The following will serve as pallbearers: Russell Dean Fouts, Jimmy Bryan Michell, Alex Michell, Jonathan Clark, Casey Clark, Tommy Heatwole, Son-In-Laws and Grandsons.
