The Obituary of Mrs. Mary Helen Adams Officiating Minister: Keith Bowling & Harold Turner Mrs. Mary Helen Adams was born on October 16, 1935 in Leslie County and departed this life on September 25, 2011 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center in Hazard, KY. She was 75 years of age and was residing at 875 Wendover Rd. ~ Hyden, KY. at the time of her passing. Mary was the Daughter of the late Boone Bowling and the late Boda Morgan-Bowling and the Wife of Oria Adams. Mary was a Bus Driver, employed by Leslie County Board of Education and was also a Dental Assistant. She was a lifelong resident of Leslie County and enjoyed watching television, especially wrestling, doing crossword puzzles and most of all spending time with her family & friends. She was Preceded in Death by: Parents: Boone & Boda Bowling; Son: Randy Bowling. Mrs. Mary Helen Adams leaves the following relatives surviving: Devoted Husband of 59 Years: Oria Adams; Son: David Adams & Teresa of Hyden, KY.; Daughters: Barbara Patterson & Don of Sharps Chapel, TN., Sandra Roberts & Herman of Williamsburg, KY., Sue Smith & Barney of Hyden, KY., Judy Ciaravino & Jimmy of Alvin, TX., Joyce Pence of Hyden, KY. and Aggie Morgan & Jody of Hoskinston, KY.; 15 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild. A host of treasured family & friends also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Helen Adams will be conducted on Wednesday ~ September 28, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home with Keith Bowling and Harold Turner officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowling~Adams Family Cemetery in (Boone Trail) Hyden, KY. Visitation will be on Tuesday ~ September 27, 2011 from 6:00-9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
