Frances Wooton

Frances Violet Caudill Wooton, 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Greg and Noreen Hospice Center, Hazard, Ky, on August 14,2012. She was born September 25, 1928 to Jefferson and Maude Caudill of Wooton, Kentucky. After attending Berea School for young ladies, Frances married Emmitt Wooton and traveled extensively world wide with him and her children during his Air-Force career of 20 years. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Emmitt Wooton and a newborn son, Faris Wooton. Frances is survived by her four children, Madeline Wooton Lewis, and spouse Paul of Leslie County, Ky. ; Jeff and Bonnie Wooton of Hendersonville, NC; Emmitt Daniel Wooton and spouse Linda of Rutherfordton, NC and Maude Cookie Romeo and her spouse Denis of Hendersonville, NC. She is survived by her grand-children, Adam D. Romeo, Isarna Pacher, Chet Wooton, Tara Wooton, Emily Wooton, Katherine Rockwell, Jennifer Evans, Jacqueline, 10 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. The family wishes to thank the Doctors, Nurses and C.N.A.s along with the entire staffs of the Gregg and Noreen Hospice Center, who were very caring and sensitive during our Mothers short stay at their facility. A memorial service will be held at the Dwayne Walker Chapel in Hyden, Ky on Sunday ~ September 23, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. with Jim Sluss officiating. Friends and family are invited to attend, immediately after service, Frances will be buried between her parents at Hurricane Cemetery Hyden, Ky. Frances was dearly loved and will be missed.
