Mrs. Dophia Madden Osborne born July 30, 1929 departed this life June 5, 2008 at the age of 78 years, 10 months, and 6 days old. She was born at Big Rock, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Noah Madden and the late Ada Watson Madden. She was a lifelong resident Kentucky. She was also affiliated with the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ at Smilax, Ky. By occupation she was a homemaker, and enjoyed gardening as a hobby. She was preceded in death by her parents: Noah & Ada Madden; one son: Gary Wayne Crawford; one daughter: Kathleen Drew; two grand-daughters: Julie Maggard & Jessica Callahan; two grand-sons: James Anthony Crawford & Leslie David Sherperdson. Dophia leaves surviving the following relatives: Six sons:William Roger Madden & Diane of Smilax, Kentucky; Kenneth Crawford & Janice of Lafollette, Tennessee; Roy Callahan & Judy of Sheperdsville, Kentucky; James Harold Callahan & Mia of Bledsoe, Kentucky; Lonnie Callahan of Smilax, Kentucky; Arthur A. Callahan & Angela of Essie, Kentucky: four daughters: Eva Callahan Belcher & Guice of Hyden, Kentucky; Lucy Callahan Napier & Clark of Hyden, Kentucky; Lorraine Callahan Ping & Darrell of Somerset, Kentucky; Patricia Sheperd & Phillip of Bledsoe, Kentucky:two brothers: Montgomery Madden of Indianapolis, Indiana; Carl Madden of Bledsoe, Kentucky: one sister: Mary Belle Roberts. She had thirty-four grandchildren, and thirty-eight great-grandchildren. Also survived by host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Dophia Madden Osborne will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday - June 8, 2008 at the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ with Rev. Billy Joe Lewis officiating. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Saturday - June 7, 2008 at the church. Burial will follow the funeral services at the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ at Smilax, Kentucky.
