Michael Joseph Mrs. Laura Boggs was born on July 6, 1937 in Yeaddiss, KY. and passed away on Tuesday ~ January 8, 2013 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center ~ Hazard, KY. She was 75 years of age and was residing in Yeaddiss, KY. at the time of her passing. She was the Daughter of the late Clemmie Joseph and the late Rebecca Fields and was the Wife of the late Ben Boggs. By occupation Laura was a Homemaker and was affiliated with the Big Fork Church of God in Yeaddiss, KY. She was a lifelong resident of Leslie County and enjoyed gardening, four-wheeling and puzzles as hobbies. She was Preceded in Death by her: Parents: Clemmie & Rebecca Fields Joseph; her loving and devoted husband: Ben Boggs; Son: Carl Birtchfield; Daughter: Bonnie Carroll; Son-In-Law: Harold Carroll; Brothers: Oakey Joseph, Henry Joseph & Will Joseph; Sisters: Nancy Callahan, Judy Day, Betty Pennington, Lizzie Day and Easter Joseph; Step Mother: Polly Jane Lewis. She leaves the following relatives surviving: Son: Benny Boggs & Melissa of Yeaddiss, KY.; Daughters: Lisa Pennington & Victor of Yeaddiss, KY. and Kathy Joseph & Glen of Yeaddiss, KY.; Brothers: Herman Joseph of Yeaddiss, KY. and Estill Joseph of IL.; Sister: Katie Reed; Grandchildren: Brandy Pennington, Jason Carroll & Sherry, Ishmael Carroll, Chasity Boggs, Casandra Boggs and Isabella Joseph; A host of treasured Great Grandchildren, brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-laws and other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Boggs will be conducted on Friday ~ January 11, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Big Fork Church of God in Yeaddiss, KY. with Rev. Billy Joe Lewis, Rev. Clemmie Joseph & Rev. Michael Joseph officiating. Burial will follow in the Lee Joseph Cemetery in Yeaddiss, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Victor Pennington, Rufus Kelly, Sheryl Kelly. Brian Boggs, Ishmael Carroll, Jason Carroll & Willis Hayes Day. The following will serve as Honorary Pallbearers: Michael Caldwell.
