She was 82 years, 1 month, & 2 days old. Lottie was born at Red Bird, Clay Co., the daughter of the late Bob Strong & Rebecca Mosley. She was a member of the Stinnett Pentecostal Church & a homemaker. Lottie enjoyed quilting, gardening, & cooking. Lottie was a life-long resident of Leslie & Clay County. Mrs. Lottie S.Morgan was preceded in death by her parents: Bob Strong & Rebecca Mosley Strong, the fathers of her children: Hobert Simpson & Robert "Bob" Lewis, one daughter: Lucy Jean, brothers: George Strong, Kelly Strong, Ray Strong, James Strong, Chester Strong,Truman Strong, Brett Morgan, & Elbert Mosley, sisters: Ruth Simpson & Lucy Strong, granddaughter: Amanda Lewis Sturgill, great grandchildren: Michael Sturgill, Robert Sturgill, & Jordan Sturgill. Mrs. Lottie Strong Morgan leaves the following relatives surviving: step-mother: Maudie Strong of Hyden, eight sons: James Ray "Jimmy" Simpson & wife, Jane of Ohio, Eujene Simpson of Jamestown, Ky., Hobert Simpson, Jr. of London, Ky., Robert Simpson and wife Sherry of Covington, KY, Vernon Lewis and wife, Lisa of Manchester, Ky., Harold Lewis of Corbin, Ky., Herman Lewis of Manchester, Ky., Floyd Lewis and wife, Tammy of Stinnett, Ky., four daughters: Irene McFarland of Corbin, Ky., Evelyn Ritchey and husband, Tim of Lexington, Ky., Juanita Collett and husband, Anthony of London, Ky., Wanda Grubb of London, Ky., four brothers: Henry Strong & Twila of Somerset, Ky., Hobert Strong and wife, Linda of Tennessee, Michael Strong and wife, Penny of Ohio, Paul Strong and wife, Mechelle of Ohio. three sisters: Jacqueline Bentley and husband, Ben of Hyden, Ky., Nancy Hibbitts and husband, Stanley of Hyden, Ky., Opal Estep of Ohio, one step-sister, Dorothy Wagner of Hyden, Ky., one step-brother, Eugene North of Hyden, Ky.,43 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, & 3 great, great, grandchildren, along with a host of other treasured relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Lottie Strong Morgan will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. - Monday - June 29, 2009 at the Stinnett Pentecostal Church at Stinnett, Ky with Rev. James Bowling, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Asher's Fork Cemetery at Manchester, KY under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff.
