He passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Middlesboro, KY., at the age of 20 years, 0 months & 22 days. Curtis Blake was a lifelong resident of Leslie Co. By occupation he was a former employee for Nally & Hamilton. He was affiliated with the New Hope Community Church at Warbranch, KY. He enjoyed fishing, riding four wheelers, & most importantly, spending time with his treasured Son, Xavier. Curtis Blake Whitehead was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents: Robert & Myrtle Egan & his Paternal Grandmothers: Goldie Stacy & Gene McCrobie. He leaves the following relatives surviving: Parents: Gary & Margie Egan Stacy of Bledsoe, KY.; his Biological Father: Jim McCrobie of Maryland; Son: Xavier Whitehead of Middlesboro, KY.; Sister: Tasha Caldwell & Tim of Stoney Fork, KY.; Half-Brother: Zack McCrobie; Nephew: Isaiah Caldwell; Niece: Alexis Caldwell also a host of other relatives & friends survive. Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the New Hope Community Church at Warbranch, KY. with Rev. Marvin Egan, Rev. Denver Brock & Rev. Tim Finley officiating. Burial will follow in the Honey Branch Cemetery at Helton, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Freddie Bryan Egan, Tim Caldwell, Hunter Oldham, Cheyenne Hall, Bob Stacy, Trent Nantz, Jordan Morgan & Glenn "Wob" Napier.
