The Obituary of Mrs. Estelle Gross Wilson Officiating Minister: Pastor Steve Springer at Mrs. Estelle Gross Wilson was born on February 14, 1915 at Helton, Ky.she passed away on Thursday ~ July 14, 2011 in Williamstown, KY., at the Grant Manor Rehab. & Nursing Center. She was 96 years & 5 months of age at the time of her passing. She was the daughter of the late Charles C. Gross and the late Lydia Howard Gross and Wife of the late Woodrow Wilson. She was residing in Williamstown, KY. and was formerly of Leslie County ~ Helton, KY. By occupation Estelle was a Retired Elementary School Teacher in the Leslie Co. School System after many years of service. She was a Graduate of University of the Cumberlands and Eastern Kentucky University. She was an avid reader. Estelle was a Member of Upper Beechfork United Methodist Church and was an Active Member of the United Methodist Women. She was a Sunday School Superintendent and taught the Adult Class. She was Preceded in Death by: Parents: Charles & Lydia Howard Gross; Husband: Woodrow Wilson; Sister: Parlie Gross Wilson. Mrs. Estelle Gross Wilson leaves the following relatives surviving: Son: Charles Edward Wilson & Rose Nell of Williamstown, KY.; Daughters: Bonnie Lois Couch & George of Richmond, KY. and Muriel Gwayne Lewis & Robert of Ohio; Brother: Charles Jr. Gross of Helton, KY.; 6 Grandchildren: Craig Lewis, Marty Lewis, Lisa Kingsley & Kevin. Heather Alger & Marty, Tackett Wilson & Loretta, Casey Wilson & Fohzeay, & 13 Great-Grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Estelle Gross Wilson will be conducted on Sunday ~ July 17, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home ~ Hyden, KY. with Pastor Steve Springer officiating. The Wilson Family has requested in lieu of flowers donations may be madeto Gideon's International ~ 2906 N Melrose Dr.,- Louisville, KY. 40299. The interment will follow in the Wilson Family Cemetery ~ (Sims Branch) Helton, KY. Estelle's Grandsons and Great-Grandson's will serve as Pallbearers. Visitation will begin on Sunday ~ July 17, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. until time of Funeral at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home.
